EEAP “The Safety People” discusses Cal/OSHA 300 Logs.
Businesses in California who employ over 10 employees at any point in a year are required to maintain 300 Logs for that year. A summary of that log must be posted in a place where all employees have access to see it form February 1st to April 30th of the following year.
There are some partially exempt industries determined by SIC (Standard Industrial Classification). For a complete list of exempt industries, visit California’s Department of Industrial Relations website.
Topics discussed include what information needs to be recorded on the 300 log, how to fill out the forms, when and where to post the summary, and who is required to maintain a 300 log.
If you have questions about the Cal/OSHA 300 logs, call us at 800-734-3574 for more information.
