This was the first TV interview Osama (Usama) Bin Laden permitted. It was conducted in 1997 by CNN’s Peter Arnett, Peter Bergen and photographer Peter Jouvenal. The CNN team was taken to an undisclosed location in Afghanistan for the interview.

how can you not agree with what he said??? are you people dumb?
It doesn't mean that All Muslims r terrorists?
So CNN decided not to tell the US government they were popping over to have a nice chat with Bin Laden?
Be it any terrorist from any origin,he will eventually end up in terror nation Pakistan. All major terrorists have links with Pakistan . The military of Punjab actually gives protection to the terrorist living there. Osama's house was barely some kilometers away from a Pakistani military base. Why isn't US invading Pakistan already. It needs cleansing. It's full of terror shit today.
Why does osama act like he’s so innocent
Funny that us government actually created and financed (not sure about past time) islamistic terrorism – first in Afganistan and then in Syria
whats holy about War??..crazy if you ask me!
HAHAHAHAHA, they think the us Goct doesnt know EXACTLY where this man was
How did a reporter from New Zealand and he's camera find this man in a cave?????
He should have been shot then
hate him
Did anyone look at him in the face, without MSM bias, he did not seem angry or menacing.
Osama was correct about what he said about the US Government. It is tyrannical.
kick his face in'
His parents were rich and he chose to terrorize the world
JUST CAUSE OSAMA BIN LOTAN IS A TERRORIST IT DOSINT MEAN ALL MUSLAMS ARE. TERRORIST
he clearly said and also in his writings "fighting outsiders out of the middle east" meaningly : kicking out foreign forces out of the middle east. fighting against a whole country in its own territory never been bin ladens goal at all hence its a loss and a demise for bin ladens regime thats why after 9/11 they invaded iraq instead of afghanistan in his own territory cuz America knew he had no relations, he even made a clear statement right after 9/11 saying he got no ties nor knowledge of the attack unlike the nowadays rebels and extremists like isis they claim every terror act whether they did it or not just to look tough. bin laden has been and always been fighting in combat zones he never fought civilians nor encouraged it, he clearly also said in this particular interview "civilians are not our target, only military." i never supported bin laden but i have investigated his life and political along with religious goals right after 9/11 none of his shit say attack civilians which shouts loudly that he has no hands in 9/11
a person that has been emphasizing before and after 9/11 that he never attacks civilians and 9/11 was a whole area with only civilians and zero military !! does this sound like bin laden ? bin laden is a gorilla fighter since day 1, fought against soviet soldiers with the help of Americans then fought against american troops in Afghanistan, never targeted civilians but i can assure you that there was civilian casualties ofc, thats the case with every and all kinds of wars, all wars got civilian casualties wether conducted and carried by a professional army or gorillas, casualties are impossible to avoid.
Any
body that reads the Koran, will find this dead man's beliefs and views of the Muslim religion are a great perversion. The Koran is a beautiful book just like the bible…
He's got some points
So ur interviewing a man who is wanted? Wow
and now that monster is dead
Osama is a savage
Only if they knew his terror he was planning toward our country
I'm glad he's gone!
I would be nervous as hell if I were interviewing him. How did he not kill him
If I was in close contact with a wanted criminal, I'd be hauled in by the authorities for questioning in a heartbeat. CNN meet with a notorious terrorist on the most wanted list, and nothing seems to have happened
jihad means struggle
it doesn't mean holy war
There is no 'good guys' and 'bad guys'…………… It just depends on what side of the fence you sit.
ALL MONEY FOR JIHAD COMES FROM ARAB
I,am happy he is dead
5:50 , wake up people !!!
9:29 "what are your future plans?"
-Gives him that smile
People are like sheep
"To some in the Islamic world" more like to a tiny tiny portion in the Islamic world
Wait was this before 9/11? That ending is quite disturbing then
6:50 lol, he did 9/11 some years after
The ending, OMFG a psycho
im a muslim and osama is a terrorist not a "hero"
This reporter had some balls
