I'm assuming neither are certified operators or have wallet cards. Definitely would be reviewed by OSHA. Can you say "Audited"

Even if you have the two loaders theres a system already set up for this kind of stuff just be safe and use a better loader. Skimping is just asking for trouble.

That's what happens when you look the other way and tolerate insubordination, nobody cares until somebody gets hurt.

@crfranchises1 Relax there safety sam… Did you ever hear they saying "Where there is a will there is a way" these guys are getting it done.. Would you spend $1500 to load one block or barrier if you had 2 loaders available ?

well….the idea was not that great.
But they also were not that good at what they tried to do.
The closer Loader had more power, but it didnt know when to stop and start over. They might have pulled it off had that one loader knew when to stop

You can rent a crane for about 1500 a day, one of those loaders will run 50 to 100k if you brake it. Injury to employee will start at 1k and a fatality will start at 10 million. Acceptance to deviance causes predictable surprises. They may get away with it this time but maybe the 12th time they try this the owner is making a dreaded phone call to a loved one to explain John isn't coming home today.

Yeah lets use the tiny loader instead of the one that can actually lift the block… Some people have no common sense, people like that shouldn't have jobs.

this is why people die on the job site … Its like my grandfather once told me " The only cure for stupidity .. is death " … that operator could have had his spine drove through his brain… how 'd you like to be the boss on that job , and have to explain that to his wife and kids ?
