You said it. Layers and Layers of management. Attorney and DOL all over it.
Supervisor gets paid for what again?

I would have looked at that supervisor and called him insane that hole is way too scary to go in just like that. No shores, braces, and they want you to ride a shield? what… Sometimes it makes you wonder what their safety teams does all day. (or has a degree in)

Just a pity OSHA were not on the ball in N.Y with the tower cranes.

In the U.K that supervisor and his bosses would be sacked on the spot. Stupid people. Thank god for that OSHA guy. Those workers need to go home safe to their families after work.

The guy in the trench is looking like he is lost, than the sides fall in.
At that point he is just hanging on the trench box.
But at no point does he say anything.
As far as the guy being fine, perhaps, but perhaps not.

From the video you can see the bank starting to separate from the laborers left side. Did they warn the guy standing on the trench box? If you're going to violate OSHA at least do it with some common sense.

Great example of what people just don't expect. If he were at the bottom he'd be dead.
