Welding in tight spaces is no easy task. Miller product manager Sam Harvey shares how the Weld-Mask™ 2 can make the job a little easier — and safer.
The Weld-Mask 2 is engineered specifically for the unique hazards prevalent for construction and ship welders, and other welders who work in tight, challenging environments — increasing comfort, compliance and productivity. Compact auto-darkening lenses allow users to weld in spaces where access with traditional helmets is limited. The newest welding mask from Miller is also 40 percent lighter than a helmet and fits over safety glasses and the Miller LPR-100™ Half Mask Respirator.

I think this would be more suitable for robotic welding, when sitting points and reviewing welding arc.
I know when i go to our robots I have to put on thick layer of sunscreen and try to avoid flash bruns to the eyes.
I been welding for 12 yrs and the robots gave me the worst flash burn and thats no joke.
